I was born in San Diego in 1981 and grew up in Escondido (a subberb of San Diego). I graduated from high school in 1999 and went to Point Loma Nazarene University where I got a bachelor's degree in computer science. I came to the University of California, San Diego in 2003 where I began my persuit of a PhD in computer science. I got married in 2005 to my wife, Lisa. I enjoy spending time with Lisa, playing tennis, skydiving, tinkering with my computer, and good cinema. I also love going to the beach and reading. |
